I am a complete newbie so I have to start somewhere…
I am intended to build an L7e category electric quadricycle for street food business (see the idea in the attached picture).
It’s gonna have a 15 kW motor and about 10 kWh of LiFePo4 battery capacity.
As a starting point, my question is:
What material would you recommend to use for the frame?
In order to save weight, I would prefer aluminium but I am not sure if it is a clever choice. Are there any risks involved in using aluminium instead of steel?
